Three children are said to have been abducted from Kasengor of Kapoeta East County in Eastern Equatoria state on Wednesday.
The area Commissioner says the children aged 4,7 and 8 were forcefully taken at around 2:30pm.
Abdallah Lokeno said the abductors took the children while they were grazing animals in the nearby bushes.
He alleged that the criminals are from the Greater Pibor Administrative Area.
Commissioner Lokeno appealed to authorities in Pibor to help in tracing the whereabout of the children.
“I communicated [to them] to bring back the children who were looking after cattle at the grazing area,”he stated.
The Commissioner also mentioned that a civilian was tortured by the suspected abductors but survived.
