Police arrest three suspects in the killing of a boy in Gogrial West

After a young boy was fatally beaten on Tuesday in Mayom Totin town, Gogrial West, Warrap State, three suspects have been taken into custody.

The three suspects are accused by the police of whipping the boy multiple times.

The deceased’s mother is one among the suspects.

Alek North Payam police investigator Sergeant George Kuec Deng claims the deceased boy was suspected of stealing an MP3 speaker.

Because he was discovered to be in possession of the speaker, he was beaten.

After being taken to the hospital, the boy died from internal bleeding, according to a medical report that the police were able to get.

Madut Akin Bol, a 13-year-old, has been identified as the deceased child.

“We have arrested three people: the owner of the MP3 speaker who first whipped the boy as a soldier and the mother of the deceased because they all caned the boy—the three suspects are now in police custody for further investigation,” Sergeant George Kuec Deng told Mayardit 90.7 FM.

The accused will be charged in court shortly following the investigations, according to Sergeant Kuec Deng.
