More than 3,000 households have been affected by floods in Cuei-bet County of Lakes state.
Homes have been destroyed and crops uprooted by weeks of flooding.
The deputy chairperson of the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission in Lakes State said a humanitarian needs assessment conducted this week indicate the displaced families are sheltering in churches and along the main roads.
“The partners went with some soaps, dignity kits, and some assorted medicines and we believe now after the conclusion of the assessment, the humanitarian partners will intervene,” said Adhum Achol Geu.
RRC said those uprooted from their homes are from the 9 Payams.
