President
Salva Kiir has removed Awut Deng Achuil from her position as the minister of
General Education and Instruction, appointing Kuyok Abol Kuyok as her
successor.
The
announcement was made through presidential decrees announced on the state-run
television, SSBC, on Monday evening.
In the same
decrees, Kiir also sacked Ruben Madol Arol, the minister of Justice and
Constitutional Affairs, replacing him with Wek Mamer.
Additionally,
Joseph Muom Majak was relieved of his duties as the minister of Trade and
Industry and replaced with Atong Kuol Manyang, who was previously the deputy governor
of Jonglei State.
