The South Sudan national football team, Bright Stars, has enhanced its roster with the addition of two promising players in anticipation of their pivotal encounter against Sudan.

Tito Okello, of Libyan club Abelashhar FC, and Valentino Yuel Kuach, from Murooj FC in Libya, have officially joined the Bright Stars.

Okello, known for his strong presence and goal-scoring ability, is expected to make an immediate impact as he joins the team.

Sunday’s training was when Valentino Yuel Kuach, a left winger with impressive technical skills, received a warm welcome from the squad.

Kuach’s experience with Murooj FC will undoubtedly contribute to the team’s tactical flexibility and strengthen them as they face Sudan.

Today, the two teams are set to clash once again in the highly anticipated second-leg showdown, scheduled for 9:00 CAT at the Benina Martyrs Stadium.

In the previous year, Sudan achieved a 3-0 victory against South Sudan in their FIFA 2026 World Cup Qualifier match at Juba National Stadium.
