Police in Lakes State say they are interrogating a man after his wife killed his two sons before taking her own life.
The body of Ajah Kulang Abiel, 25, was found dangling from the ceiling, next to her sons’ in Yirol West County on Friday evening.
The children were identified as Majak Majok Majak, 4; and Makur Majok Majak, 6 months.
“The 25-year-old mother hanged her two sons to death before she hanged herself,” said Lt Col. Moses Machuoch, acting police spokesperson in the state.
He further said they are investigating Majok Majak over the deaths to establish the motive behind the murder-suicide.
The police officer discouraged the public from any acts of suicide, adding that people should seek help whenever they are facing life problems.
