At least two people are reportedly dead and one injured after a motorcycle and truck collided in Kuajok town on 4th February, 2023.
According to the Traffic Police, the two deceased identified as Deng Kuch Deng, age 31 and Bol Kiir Ayook, age 32 who died on the spot and the injured fellow who is under treatment at Kuajok hospital were all on one motorcycle they hit the truck behind near Kuajok secondary school.
Col. James Wol said the truck driver has been detained at the police station.
“The accident happened on Saturday near Kuajok Secondary school. A motorbike carrying three people hit the truck behind and two died on spot and one sustained injury and is now admitted in Kuajok main hospital. The driver of the truck is also detained in a police station.” Wol said
The injured fellow sustained injuries on his head, body and leg.
Last week traffic police in Warrap state recorded 6 deaths, 14 injured with bone fractures in road accidents.
