One person has been confirmed dead and another injured in a scuffle over domino game in Tonj North County.
The incident happened at Adau Payam – part of Marial Lou area – on Wednesday.
“Fighting started between as the result of disagreement over the domino game. One person, Bakich Nhomngek, was beaten seriously,” said Captain Bona Bol, area inspector police.
Relatives of the unnamed, man who sustained serious injuries, Bol said, escalated to the community level between Pamuol and Matiik sections.
“The relative of the injured person then avenged him. The fighting continued until one person was killed,” he continued.
Capt. Bol also urged the relatives of the deceased to remain calm and allow the law to take its course.
