Three youths busted for ‘stealing’ cows in Twic County

At least three young people have been arrested for allegedly stealing two cows in Twic County, Warrap state.

The suspects were busted in Pandit Amuol Boma on Tuesday while taking the stolen cows to Tonj.

The Director of Police in Twic County, Brigadier General Marko Mawien Madut said the suspects are currently in police custody.

“A case will be opened in the court so that their colleagues know the consequence and punishment of stealing,” he stated.

Police have recorded more than 21 cases of cattle theft in Twic County between May and August this year.

Last week, Akon police arrested 3 suspects for stealing some cows in Awan Lol Payam of Gogrial West County.
