Accompanied by members of the Toongabbie Arabic Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Sydney, Mamdoh Mansour is touring Kapoeta South, Eastern Equatoria State, where he arrived on Wednesday.
They are visiting Triple L Orphanage as part of their efforts to support hundreds of orphaned children in the area.
The donors aim to provide financial support, resources, and potential volunteer assistance to the orphanage.
“We have been called from God to come and help these young children to find places for them to live instead of being on the street,” he said.
Mansour highlighted the urgent need to support the orphanage, as many children live in challenging environments that hinder their development.
He stated that these donations improve living conditions, educational opportunities, and overall care for the children.
Pastor Aman Ham, another member of the Sydney Church delegation, encouraged the orphaned and vulnerable children through prayers, believing that God will provide opportunities for them.
He pointed out that many of these children sometimes have only one meal a day or none.
Ham explained: “Before we have been taking video of our brother, who is still small and in a bad situation, the people of Austria look at your video. They said we cannot eat three times a day, and children are suffering in some parts. We should put our hands together as Christians.”
Meanwhile, Hakim S. Peter, who runs the orphanage, expressed gratitude for the donors' arrival.
"We give thanks to Pastor Aman for working hard for God, who touched their hearts for being with us here in Kapoeta until this initiative succeeds,” the CEO said.
In October, Australian churches generously donated non-food items, construction materials, and bales of clothes to the Triple L Orphanage.
This initiative followed several appeals for assistance to improve living conditions and educational opportunities for the children.
Established in 2020, the Triple L Orphanage aims to provide care and support for underprivileged and orphaned children.
