Primary 8 final exams set to begin on Feb 13

The final examination for South Sudan Certificate of Primary Education (CPE) 2022 is set to begin on 13th of February 2023, the national examination council announced on Wednesday.

The Minister of General Education and Instruction, Awut Deng Acuil made the announcement on behalf of the national examination council.

“I take this opportunity to inform the candidates, parents, and all stakeholders that all processes of the 2022 Certificate of Primary Education (CPE) examination have been put in place and the examination administration dates have been fixed,” said Awut.

“The examination begins on Monday 13 February 2023 and ends by Friday 17 February 2023.”

A number of 60,714 candidates are expected to sit for the Certificate of Primary Education this year.
The candidates comprise of 34,505 boys and 26, 209 girls.

Minister Awut ask the invigilators and examination security to play a central role in ensuring the safety of the examinations and the candidates.

“I would also like to draw special attention to the supervisors, invigilators, security, and police that the assessment of students and the integrity of the examination processes are of great significance to the South Sudan National Examination Council,” Awut added.

The examinations begins on Monday 13th with Christian/Islam Religious Education (CRE/IRE) followed by science on Tuesday, English language on Wednesday, on Thursday social studies and conclude with mathematic on Friday 17th of February.
