Police in Tonj North County are searching for a suspect in connection with the killing of a 32-year-old man in Warrap state on Monday.
The murder took place in Mabior Tiit Boma at around 2AM.
According to Tonj North Police Director, Brigadier Mabek Monytoch Deng, the suspect committed the crime following a disagreement over money they made from the sale of a cow.
The deceased and the suspect are believed to be cousins.
Brigadier Monytoch said the suspect is on the run after the shooting incident. He urges anyone with information regarding the whereabout of the suspect to come forth.
“I am urging the citizens of Warrap state to help us with information on the whereabouts of the suspect to any nearest police station. Let us cooperate whenever a criminal has committed a crime, we must corporate so that arrest is made,” he appealed.
The suspect has been identified as Diing Wol.
