Four people are being held by police following a fatal stabbing incident in Tonj North County of Warrap state.
A man was reportedly stabbed to death in Wun Akoc village, Akoc Payam on Monday.
Police believed the four are people of interest.
The Payam Administrator, Marko Magok Kur said was stabbed with a spear. He was reportedly attacked in his home at 8pm.
Among those detained are two sub-chiefs.
“Those people are in detention and the government will investigate the matter,” Magok disclosed.
The Administrator said the reason behind the stabbing is not yet clear.
