Police in Warrap state have arrested the suspect who was reportedly on run following the murder of a 30-year-old man in Gogrial West County on Thursday.
The police had reported that five men killed a man in Ajeep village on June 9 at 4: 30 PM.
The victim – whose name has been withheld – died during a scuffle over money. The suspects had allegedly borrowed 1,400 South Sudanese Pounds from the deceased but failed to pay back – resulting into the tragic incident.
Four people were arrested in connection with the killing but the fifth suspect was reportedly on the run.
However, the State Police spokesperson, Major Andria Santino Kuot has confirmed to Mayardit FM that the suspect has been apprehended.
He said the suspects will undergo investigations and face the law.
