Buhran proposes a new road map to end deadlock on the unification of forces

Sudan’s head of transitional government, General Abdel Fattah al-Buhran, presented to President Salva Kiir a proposal to end the deadlock on the unification of the necessary forces in the country.

 

President Salva Kiir welcomed the proposal in a joint communique issued by the Foreign Affairs Ministries of Sudan and South Sudan. A statement, ‘’it stated that the document reflects President Burhan’s military acumen and commitment to lasting peace in the country.

 

During his meeting with President Salva Kiir in Juba, the official says the proposal aimed to create a consensus on establishing a unified, integrated, and effective command structure for the South Sudan people’s defense Force or SSPDF SPLA-IO, and SSOA.

 

The two presidents in their meeting agreed to focus on cooperation along the borders of the two sisterly countries, South Sudan and Sudan.

 

The statement also said that The Presidents had encouraged the citizens of the two countries to promote diversities to become a source of enrichment and strength in both countries’ relations.
