The body of a 40-year-old woman has been found dumped in the nearby bushes in Abiemnhom County of Runweng Administrative Area.
The dead body was reportedly retrieved by soldiers on patrol.
According to the Area Commissioner, the body found in Kol Ngolnyang village is being handed over to the family of the deceased.
Simom Bol Mayiik said the cause of death has not been established.
He called on the public to be cautious.
“Please walk in group and be careful when you see insecurity in the areas, inform your colleagues to leave that place before incident,” he advised.
On Monday, Police in Tonj South County of Warrap state also found a body of a 28-year-old man dumped in a forest.
