At least two people have been reportedly killed and six others wounded in renewed clashes in Rumameer County of Abyei administrative area on Tuesday.
The incident happened in Minyiel village.
According to the Area Security Advisor, fighting erupted after armed cattle herders from Biemnhom County of Ruweng Administrative Area met with armed youth from Rumameer County of Abyei area.
Kelek Kon Lual said they will bring the perpetrators to book.
“When government finds somebody guilty in the incident, the law will face that person.”
Mr. Kelek added that no arrests have been made so far.
